Meat and animal products play an adverse role in determining the health we enjoy. The risks of developing diseases such as heart disease, diabetes, kidney disease and cancer are potentially avoidable when we choose a plant-based diet. Are you interested in moving to a vegetarian diet, but hesitate because you think it would be tasteless or limiting? You can enjoy a variety of colorful fruits and vegetables without compromising your taste buds. Learn tips to transition to a meat-free diet and what to include when planning a vegetarian diet in “Vegetarian for Beginners.” Our menu this month:

· Chicken Pineapple Gravy over Rice
· TVP Taco Meat
· Posole – A flavorful Mexican soup

The class will be held upstairs in the church Fellowship Hall. Assistance is available for those needing help getting upstairs.
