Church Info

Our church is located at the corner of 13th and Polk Streets.  We are located one block west of the Lane County Fair Grounds which is located on 13th Street (13th is a one-way street heading east).

Our church is also right across the street from a Lane County Transit bus stop (on 13th) and two blocks from the bus stop on the corner of 11th and Polk Street  (11th runs one-way heading west).   Our church is the closest Adventist Church to the University of Oregon.  We are approximately one mile to the west of the University.

Our Sabbath School study time begins at 10:00 AM on Saturday mornings.  The worship service begins at 11:00 AM.  Our Mid-week Manna (prayer meeting) meets at 7pm on Wednesday evenings here at the church.   All are welcome to come and join.  The topics are always interesting and biblically based.

Our congregation attendance is approximately 125 each Sabbath.  We encourage each person coming to become involved in some aspect of church life.  There’s something for everyone.

Music often seems to be a  deciding factor when people are looking for a home church.  Our congregation appreciates a wide variety of music, but for the most part, we tend to be middle-of-the-road conservative.  We have several different praise groups that share responsibility for music on Sabbath mornings.  Some do hymns, others do praise music, some do a mixture.   We are always looking for new members who can contribute their musical talents to the mix that we currently have.

In the summer time our members enjoy Sabbath afternoon hikes.   In the winter time we get together for downhill or cross-country skiing.  We enjoy fellowship meals after church (currently only 2 times per month).  We have choirs that occasionally visit on Sabbath (Milo Academy,  Emerald Christian Academy).   We have seminars and evangelistic meetings, and at times, special occasion banquets.

We are always ready to assist those who wish to become baptized or those who desire to have their children dedicated to the Lord.  Others who move into a new home have desired to have their home dedicated to the Lord.  Those are important and meaningful life events, but they do not save us.  It is only the blood of Jesus Christ that can wash away our sins.  We are here to help a you enter into that salvation relationship with Christ.

We would love to have you join our fellowship!  Come and worship with us this coming Sabbath.

Blessings,

Pastor Greg Middlestetter
